Ending the Statewide Ban on Public Financing of Elections

This bill would send a constitutional amendment to voters to end California's ban on public election financing. It expands access beyond charter cities like LA and Sacramento, enabling more diverse candidates, stronger campaign accountability, and less dark and corporate money–helping restore voters’ trust in democracy.
