Electric Vehicle Battery Recycling

California is home to the fastest growing electric vehicle (EV) market in the nation and has a vested interest in ensuring that EV batteries are handled responsibly. This bill would have created a framework to ensure all EV batteries are properly managed at every stage of their lives, including sustainable practices of repair, repurposing, and recycling.
